St Lawrence's Church
The abandoned church at Ayot St Lawrence, falling into a state of disrepair was shown to me by my good friend Richard Albone in 1996. I first met him at St Mary's church, Clophill. It is easy to find as it stands on the main road through the village of Ayot St Lawrence. Follow road signs from the village of Welwyn or brown signs for "Shaw's Corner".
Richard was walking around the ruins at Ayot St Lawrence taking photographs, after getting the film developed it found a couple of the photographs had similar light anomalies to those of my own taken at the Ancient Ram Inn. When turned at 90 degrees these light anomalies seem to show or be a big ghostly face, Judge for yourself, again the quality is not great these are just scanned photographs.

These photographs shown were taken by Richard Albone who kindly gave me permission to se them.
I visited this church several times, both day and night, On one of the occasions while taking photographs at night, upon getting the photographs developed a couple of them had a strange ghostly white mist on them. This mist was not noted during the investigation. But I witnessed no other paranormal phenomena on any of the visits.
